HI!My name is Alexia and I'm 13 years old. I'm from an island called Cyprus which is located in the Mediterranean sea. I couldn't put any pictures of Cyprus in the page because I don't have a scanner but I will as soon as I get one. I hate animals especially cats and dogs... My favourite hobby is shopping!! THE COUNTRIES I TRAVELLED! At the age of 6 I travelled to Greece which is very close to Cyprus...Actually i dont remember a lot of things since i was too young but I really enjoyed it. We travelled at Crete which is a small island at the south of Greece and then we went to another small village next to the beach called Egina. That was my first trip so it was great for me to travel by the plane. When I was 10 i went back to Greece again but I visited different places in the west part of the country. I went to Athens, Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki and I loved it there...especially the beaches were so great since they were sandy with out rocks and seaweeds. Last summer I went to America and England. I 've been to California, Arizona, Nevada and San Fransisko. I only spent three days at Las Vegas, Nevada-the place was fantastic but I wasn't allowed to enter the casinos:( I stayed in California for a month and most of all I enjoyed shopping! I went to Disneyland, Hollywood,Hoover dam and many other exciting places. England was something different but it was also very good. I didn't have the chance to see many things but hopefully I'll go next year. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

My favourite lesson is Maths and Geography and i hate Science even though its quite similar to Maths. MY COUNTRY!!! Cyprus is divided in six towns. Nicosia is the capital city and its located in the north of Cyprus. I live in Limassol which is in the south part of the country. Our first language is Greek and our second language is English but many people also speak French. The highest mountain is Troodos... Cyprus is located about 40 miles south of Turkey,60 miles west of Syria and 480 miles south-east of Greece. It is the third largest island in the mediterranean sea after Sicili and Sardinia-(Cyprus is 3572 square miles).The coastline is about 486 miles long. Our religions are Orthodox or Catholic.
